Spring Aligners
When only minor tooth movement is needed, a spring aligner will easily and quickly align the teeth. A spring aligner is a fancy retainer that is spring loaded and can align the teeth into a perfect smile. However, the success of a spring aligner is in direct proportion to how much it is worn.
Full time wear will produce the best and quickest results, but this appliance will require at least ten hours of wear a day in order to work at all. Treatment time varies upon the amount of movement and the amount of wear.
Invisible Retainer
The invisible retainer is a transparent removable retainer that fits over the entire arch of teeth, similar to Invisalign®. They can be used for minor orthodontic tooth movement.
